Hello, I’m Pauline, a Registered Psychotherapist with a passion for supporting individuals through their unique mental health journeys. For over 18 years, I have worked in many settings with  individuals who are going through a variety of life challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based practices while tailoring each session to the unique needs of the person in front of me. With nearly two decades in the field, I bring both depth of knowledge and compassion to my work, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.  I have worked in home based, community, school-based, and court-mandated settings with individuals, families and groups always striving to meet my clients where they are at. I am happy to offer  therapies as needed for everyone based on your personality and preferences.

My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities that I tailor to each client’s needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, building practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and everyday stress. For those carrying the weight of unresolved experiences, I integrate elements of trauma-informed practice creating a safe space to process the past and reduce its impact on the present. I also draw on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients deepen self-awareness and strengthen relationships through emotional connection, and Mindfulness-Based strategies to foster grounding, resilience, and self-compassion. This blend of modalities allows me to adapt flexibly to each person’s story while empowering them with strategies that not only address current struggles but also support long-term growth and well-being.  I am also excited to be completing my certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful approach that helps clients connect with and heal different parts of themselves, leading to greater balance, clarity, and self-leadership. This blend of modalities allows me to adapt flexibly to each person’s story while empowering them with strategies that not only address current struggles but also support long-term growth and well-being.
